Since 2009, the Street Medicine Institute (SMI) has been providing communities and clinicians with expert training, guidance, and support to develop and grow their own Street Medicine programs.

If you are a person with lived experience of homelessness, we ask that you select the membership category that represents your recent highest level of professional achievements. The PWLE category is right for you if you have experienced homelessness in the past five years and you are not currently in a professional role.

If you are already a member or are set up for auto-renewal, you will receive a notice when it is time for you to renew; you will not be able to renew prior to that time. If you need to change your membership type or have other questions, please reach out to [email protected].
